The Murciélago was designed by Luc Donckerwolke and was publicly unveiled in 2001 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Diablo. This example is finished in Grigio Telesto with orange accents and features a removable soft top, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a pantograph windshield wiper, xenon headlights, scissor doors, rear fog lights, a hexagonal exhaust outlet, and automatically deploying rear intakes to aid in cooling.

The black-finished 18″ Hemera alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli tires. Stopping power is provided by orange-finished calipers fitted over cross-drilled ceramic-composite rotors at each corner. The car is equipped with active dampers and a front-axle lift system.

The manually adjustable seats are trimmed in black leather and microsuede with Lamborghini logos on the headrests and orange stitching that extends to the dashboard and door panels. Carpeted floor mats line the footwells, and additional appointments include a rearview camera, automatic climate control, inboard shoulder restraints, and a Kenwood stereo.

A plaque between the seats denotes this example as #9 of 50 units produced.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel features orange paddle shifters and frames a 220-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 2k miles.

The mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 was factory rated at 650 horsepower and 487 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to all four wheels through an E-gear six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
